NTVDM - is possible to upgrade its DOS version?

Hi!

I know how looks my Q, but I'm writing it 'cause I have not so high skills with NTVDM and really want to be sure that this option is possible or not.

NTVDMx64 on my Windows 10.1803.17134.112 Pro x64 uses MS-DOS version 5.00.500 (got it by typing VER in NTVDM console),

It can be pretty good to upgrade MS-DOS, I know that if is it possible it needs very big configuration changes and even it can harm NTVDM totally.

So, is it possible?
