how to build a comp

how to build a comp.... im now building my own comp, well i have someone who will put it together but i want to make sure i get all the parts ill need.  does neone know what parts i need to get or look for??

    Maximum PC just did a magazine dedicated to building your own computer and I think it was a special issue so you may run to BAM and find it still on the shelf.
