« on: January 03, 2006, 09:08:11 PM »
I have a dell windows xp . I bought and downloaded a online computer game without a problem. I now have a sony vaio notebook and want to get that game into my new notebook without having to buy it again. How do I copy that file and is a CD -R recordable disc what i need to use. and what  is the way to do it> I have really never copied anything to  a cd before.
thanks in advance.

You can't copy the game unless you have the complete installer or CD/DVD image file. If the game is allready installed and the installer is no longer there, it won't work on the other PC.

search for the setup file.
if you still have it.
make sure you have a cd burner in the dell.
if so, insert the CD-R into the drive.
go to my computer, double click on the cd icon.
paste the setup file and right click then click write these files to the cd.
