    Audio Editor Program

I want to save my LPs, cassettes, etc. music to CDs and need a good audio editor program to work with.  I can't use Roxio's Easy CD because it doesn't support my drive.  Can you suggest something?  Thanks. :-/

Thanks to you all.  I decided to try Audacity, but I may use Nero to hear the difference.

I have another question, though it may sound dumb, once I start recording how or where will I find the tracks, is there a "destination" folder?  Thanks.   :-?
