Hard Drive Problem
« on: August 09, 2004, 11:25:09 AM »
Can anyone help me with this?  I have two hard drives in my computer, the standard one that came with it and a Maxtor 4k060H3 80 GB hard drive that I installed about one year ago.  I booted my computer up this morning and it was running incredibly slowly (took almost 20 mins to get to windows), and when it did, it wasn't reading my Maxtor hard drive at all.  I partitioned it into several drives and none of them were even showing up on my computer.   It is properly connected because when I turn my computer on it reads that the drive is there on the initial BIOS screen.  I run Windows XP with fully updated Norton Internet Security and Anti-Virus 2004.   Can anyone shed some light on what may be the problem??

                                                        Thanks,
