Other method is pressing F9 and chose boot device after the splash screen of the system and before windows boots. F9 will pop up a menu to select an alternate boot device. *However if you have boot order as USB prior to Hard Drive in BIOS, each time the USB stick is installed into a USB port prior to boot it will boot the Linux off that USB flash drive.
