    Really weird keyboard problems
    « on: March 28, 2020, 03:47:14 PM »
so it started off as some keys on my laptop keyboard not working, but now my keyboard is getting worse and worse. Every time i press my a or s key, it comes out to as. same with q or w keys come out as qw, and z or x keys coming out as zx. to make things weirder, my left ctrl key now mutes/unmutes my pc and my left shift key coming out as zx and right shift is coming out as qw. and if it wasnt weird enough, last week it suddenly went back to normal and then the next day it came back to messed up. Please help me.

If this is your external keyboard then i will hardly recommend you to throw this keyboard into your trash bin. Or if not means it's your laptop keyboard then try to replace soon.

Do the keys "feel" right? Are they sticking, harder to press, springier, etc. than in the past?

Here's a highly technical maneuver I learned from an old NASA mechanic:
    1) Turn it upside down
    2) Shake it like an Etch-a-Sketch(tm)
    3) Try not to hurl at all the crumbs (Cheetos, natch), dust, hair, and random skin flakes that shower your desk

Sorry for the late replies. I don't eat near my keyboard lol. I don't ever eat around my laptop and the only key that has felt weird is my p key which is not being affected by this. I have yet to try an external keyboard since I haven't been able to leave the house because of the circumstances outside.
I tried the shaking thing. Nothing came out lol. It keeps randomly fixing itself occasionally too.
