Bootable hard drive
« on: January 31, 2006, 03:14:36 PM »
I'm thinking (ouch) of installing an old harddrive with win 98 on it. It may not work what with it being in a completely new computer (but it has before!) but I would like to know how to make it bootable so you can choose whether to boot from the harddrive with xp already installed or the one with win98 at startup. i'm asking wiithout trying because to test this i would need to buy an IDE to SATA cable anyway (~£22.00) because my motherboard does not support IDE but I do have some software on there that I would like to use but would be expensive to buy again (i.e. Sibelius).
