Hello

Sound is cutting out for a moment on both headphones and speakers, first a pop, then programs will lag, then audio returns. I have tried updating reinstalling audio drivers, I have also done a reset. Worried the issue is hardware and not sure what to try next.

Is this on a desktop or laptop? If on a desktop, you could try a PCI-e sound card. If on a laptop (desktop too) you could use a USB sound card dongle. Does the periodic lagging also occur when there is no music playing? If so, it probably is hardware.
