    Restore no longer functional

I have been trying to get system restore to work and tried more than one restore point.  I always get an error message that resort could not be completed.   Is there a work a round for this?

Hi with Windows 10 system restore will not work if there has been an update installed since the restore point was made. If you are wanting to do a system restore because windows is not starting there is the options of removing the latest update or going back to an earlier build. This is available from the recovery console.

To access the recovery console . Please refer here. https://how2do.org/how-to-open-the-windows-10-recovery-console/

Also system restore won't not work if there is a hardware problem like a full hard drive or a failing hard drive.

Can you explain why you need to revert back to an earlier restore point?
