size of windows

greetings,

when i open new windows they usually are full screen size.  i clicked on the taskbar to cascade the windows once and now new windows open at a smaller size.  how can i get new windows to default to opening at full size??

     phill  ....If you simply drag the edges of the reduced size window and drag then out to the size you wish , they will open at that size ........

    this hasnt worked, they still open as small sized - any other way?

      phill....... What operating system are you using ?    

      Have you tried right clicking in the task bar area ....and selecting undo cascade ......

      I have tried using Win XP and thats the way it works for me .

      i got xp but there is no undo cascade option :'(

      As dl65 says you should just be able to drag the corners of it to the size you want.

      i can window by window but when i open the next ones they are still small.

         phill......  What happens if you open a folder ....is it in a reduced size as well ?

        Many programs remember the position and size from the last time they were open.  The trick is to close all but one of the windows that are open, maximise/resize that window as desired and then close it too.  From then on, all windows should open in the format of the window you have just closed.
