restore problem
« on: February 03, 2007, 09:44:18 AM »
Hi everyone
On cleaning my disk space I noticed had a lot of restore points so I deleted them all to just the recent one(that was two weeks ago) Five days ago I wanted to delete some software I hardly ever use and created a restore point. Testing if it worked, three days later I tried to restore back to it but a message said cannot restore computer to this point? So I tried restoring back to the point two weeks ago but again got message cannot restore to this point?I've ran all my scans/spyware ect all was clean. I use windows XP home edition. All advice appreciated ;D

Do you actually need to restore back?
If not, I wouldn't worry about it.
Try making a restore point now and restoring back to it tomorrow, see if that works.

And be sure to run your scans in safe mode with system restore turned off.  ;)
