VR basically unplayable on capable laptop.

Hey guys!

I am having difficulties running VR games through the Oculus link on my more than capable computer, it results in very stuttery gameplay with very low frame rates (basically unusable ). The laptop I'm running this off of is an MSI sword 15 that has the following specs, Intel i5 11th gen, 16GB of ram and an RTX 3060. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

What are the temps of laptop for CPU and GPU.... Thermal Throttling can cause issues like this. Other thing is are you running latest correct GPU driver or running with driver that Microsoft felt system needed.

I know temperatures are not an issue since I have a cooling pad running full blast below the laptop and since the laptop is pretty much brand new the thermal paste and dust build-up shouldn't be bad at all either. With the latest graphics card drivers, I've been using Geforce experience which has the latest driver of 497.09 released 7 days ago. I'm still not sure of the issue though.
