Remove Google Chrome

From what I have read, I think if I remove google chrome, all my screen short cuts and book marks
will be removed as well. Is this a correct assumption?
Is there a way of saving them or would I just have to download the short cuts again after I reload Chrome?

After years of Microsoft-built web browsers being a punchline, Edge has turned things around thanks to Google. I never thought I'd see the day, but the new Edge has a number of enthusiasts switching away from Google Chrome.
