pioneer DVD-RW DVR110D help

[size=16]Hey everyone, i don't know wether this is a hardware or a software problem so sorry if i'm inputing this message in the wrong forum but whenever i insert my Cd/DVD into my pioneer DVD-RW DVR110D it does'nt AutoPlay for some reason can someone please help

Ensure shell hardware detection is started and set on automatic in Administrative Tools > Services.

(if you are using XP)

And yes the shell hardware dection is on Automatic but still no response

    it was made on july 2005 and i brought it not to long ago, and it does work it just does'nt Autoplay

      When you go to my computer and right click on the drive in question and select properties ....then the auto play tab ..... what do you have showing up "ticked " ?

        does that drive autoplay in another computer? Does another drive autoplay in your computer? These are the tests to determine where the problem is.

        well the thing is that my drive use to auto play on the computer i'm using now but now it does'nt want to do that anymore, and yeah i've tryed other drives and they work just fine
