    From time to time my task bar won't appear if I have a web page called up.

    If you press the F11 key does this fix it?

          Glad that was the solution. I ran into this issue years ago when a cat decided to walk across my keyboard and I didn't know that F11 did this. Learned quickly how to set it back to normal. :)
