Selective quarantining
« on: March 14, 2023, 05:15:00 AM »
I like the widget in IObit's Advanced System Care which shows CPU and RAM usage, but Mbam wants to quarantine all Advanced System Care files and registry keys; Is there a way of selecting out the entry for the widget so as NOT to quarantine it ? I tried leaving unquarantined, all the items that referred to monitor - but the widget still disappeared.

Whitelist the following:

    C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare\ASCTray.exe
    C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare\HardwareLib.dll
    C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare\Monitor.exe

In Task Scheduler, check that there's a task for ASC_PerformanceMonitor. If not, create a new task that start a program "C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare\Monitor.exe" /Task at log on.
