Just as the subject says above. Possible? Of course, I have been googling for this one since yesterday and I'm still unsure about preserving my third-party programs doing reinstallation/reset/repairing (however we call it) Windows.

The reason I want to reinstall Windows is that certain settings to put my computer to sleep don't follow my preferences. It's been for months since I set up my computer to sleep after 30 minutes of idle time, then it went to sleep after this period of time or not at all. And for the last two weeks, the computer has not gone to sleep at all despite setting it to 30 minutes of idle time.
Anyway, my main question is it possible to preserve my third-party programs doing Windows reinstallation?
Can I ask you guys for some comments, please?

No...they would need to be re-installed...
