    Upgrade from window 8.1 to windows 10

    I was running windows 8.1 on my laptop (traveler) until there were no more upgrades.
    I read today that it is possible to upgrade to windows 10.
    Everywhere I look, it seems like I'm chasing my tail.
    Does any know how to go about this?

    I just read an article on MSN that MS has closed the loophole that allows free updates. If I can find the article I will post it here.
