My Epson Stylus Color 777 printer won't "grab" and then feed the paper. There is no software problem. The printer itself is working properly as I was able (just once) to hand feed the paper. It "grabbed" and printed a page just fine. The ink cartridges are fine. There was never an "ink low" message, but just to be sure, I inserted fresh ones.
The green power light is blinking indicating that there is an instruction to the printer to print the original document I wanted to print. The red error light is on solid. I think the printer is erroneously reading a paper jam. Those of you familiar with this printer will know that it is really a basic device. You couldn't jam paper in it without easily seeing the problem.
Help! Any ideas how to get the paper to feed down into the printer?
Thanks!!
