Start up display

Recently used Registry Mech and now my display after start up no longer displays my Background.
My screen is White, and all icons are SELECTED?  My background appears during boot, but this screen appears last and must be covering it up?/

It may simply be that Active Desktop is now enabled.

Did you make backups either before using or inside of Registry Mechanic?

Registry cleaners are very dangerous tools if you don't know what you're doing! Do not use them unless you have a definite need to. Even then, back up first!
