Can't login to Win2000 Pro
« on: March 15, 2006, 11:51:54 PM »
Hi,
I was having trouble launching and editing application setings in Win 2000 Pro, so I edited local security policy settings for the OS (I allowed all features to be allowed for the adminstrator). When the computer restarted, I get the following massage:

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively."

On top of that, I can't login with my old password.

So I'm basicaly stuck at the login prompt. And I am supposed to be the administrator!

Any and all help is welcome, thanks in advance.

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

There are many password recovery or reset tools available such as the ones here. NT isn't that secure! ;)
