    Hello everyboy,
    My english is not that good, i will try to express here my need, here is my problem folks.

    I turned on my friend's computer a while ago and no booting , no Bois page too! just black screen mentioned these phrases.

    304-keyboard or system unit error.
    102-system board failure.

    PC Compaq Pentium 3, windows Xp
    i checked the keyboard, it is good.
    power supply work fine lights are blinking, fans are rolling.

    i do have some idea about PC hardware and software, i read this nice website everyday almost.

    i need your help in a easy english if that is possible.

    i appreciate all your help in this problem.

    Try a different keyboard and if that fails, you'll need a new motherboard. Funnily enough, today I had to scrap an HP Pavilion 433 with the same fault.
