Find "My Computer" in Windows Explorer.  Right click on it and choose properties.  Click on the hardware tab then the device manager button.

Thanks, I will have my Dad take a look at it later and see if it is disabled.
Will I be able to use my 802.11a router, wireless card and access point?

For some reason I cannot get into the bios of my desktop. When I try, nothing happens, it continues to boot to windows, I have tried almost every F key there is except maybe 2 or 3. Is it possibble that I need a new ethernet card? Also, it does have a driver, but I cannot figure out how to update it.

For BIOS also try DELETE, ESCAPE, or holding down SHIFT/CTRL when you power up.
