trying to rid my computer of viruses and such, my brother deleted all of the audio stuff from system 32. now my laptop cannot play any audio at all and i dont want him to "fix" anything else. can someone please please please tell me what i have to do to have audio again? nothing works. no music, no movies, not even the regular computer sounds work.

    1. Operating System, please.
    2. Did he empty the Recycle Bin?

It seems unlikely that his "help" was confined just to deleting audio drivers etc., if he was rummaging around in system32.  By far the easiest way out of this mess is backup, format, reinstall.
