Backing up outlook and iTunes !!!!

Hey guys need help with something im formatting my hard drive and i need to know how to back up my information in Micro Soft outlook.

and also is it possible to back up iTunes Play list and Stare Ratings I works hard to rate my music and add it to play list I wouldn’t want to lose that after I format.

Your help would be widely appreciated.

It's your choice how to do this. If you have a CD burner, this will be much easier. For Outlook, just select File -> Export. Export everything you want. Save the files to a CD. With Itunes, you would just take your songs that you have now, so they stay protected, and then for the ratings, you can Export them too I think. File -> Export Library. Test these suggestions on another computer before we erase anything though
