checksum error cannot access bios

Hi Fed, sorry I called you Fred in an earlier post about my computer, windows xp genuine version.
This computer I am talking about in my mums and it's not a dell, not sure where that came from. I will try that but I have been told to reset the bios by moving the jumpers for around 20 seconds.  Will give it a bash tomorrow when I go to my mums.

Make sure all your jumpers are back where they started from (And should be I hope).
I wouldn't fool with them unless you have researched it & know exactly what you are doing.
