IE unable 2 view video/pics

hi..any help much appreciated

OS xp..IE6 .. i am unable to view movies/videos on any sites i visit..at times pics also do not display..eg ( macromedia site i cant view even)

any help appreciated..thanks

XP SP2 installed?  Name some sites that you trouble viewing, and state what part of the page does not display.  

Sounds to me like your Macromedia Flash player is not working.  Exactly what did you mean when you said "macromedia site i cant view even"?  What happens when you try to view the site?  

You may need to download the latest version of Flash from http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/.
