Keyboard Problems
« on: April 25, 2006, 06:54:07 PM »
I'm new here and have a question about my keyboard, I am using an all hp system the problem with the keyboard is that the number pad, volume buttons, up,down.right, left keys stick, they're hard to push, I don't know if my grandson spilled something on it, I was wondering if there is a way to remove the back and clean it or not.

Thanks

Well, let's start with the basics... Do the keys smell like juice or anything?

Flame:

I checked and the keys have no smell, however if I work the keys they have loosened up, the only one that really sticks now is the volume buttons, I use the number pad the most so it has loosened up some, should I keep working it?

With the PC off, yes. I'd hate to be jamming the Volume Up button when an error came up... :o
