BIOS error

http://I get error as follows 'BIOS checksum error'. It prompts me to insert floppy disc to start my computer. This happens evrytime when I start my computer. I have replaced new battery in the board. Can anyone help me to get rid off this problem. I have Award BIOS version 1.0.

Loading Failsafe defaults or standard defaults in your BIOS may prevent the problem from occuring.

It could also be that you need to update your BIOS or that you require to properly shutdown your computer.
