iTunes

Here is the situation.

I have iTunes, latest version.

I am trying to see shared music on my network. Sharing is allowed on the network and many of my friends do so.

The problem is in iTunes when I click "look for shared music" I can't see any.

When I mean I can't see any it doesn't mean that if I click on that option on the column on the left no users show up.

The problem is I don't see it on the left as an option to click on (on the left column where you see "Library" "Music Store" etc.)

What is the problem?

Perhaps your friends donot share by using Itune software.

They do.

Again let me make it clearer.

I chose the option to search for shared music in the preferences.

But I don't see that clickable text on the left column (where you see Music Shop, etc.) even though it is supposed to show it, regardless of whether or not there is music available for me to listen to, by sharing users.

Is perhaps a firewall (Router or software) blocking access?

Did you properly configure the software?
