    I'm sure there is a very simple answer but I've never taken the time to figure it out. I have a floppy disk that I need to get some information off of, but whenever I try to access it, it asks me if I would like to format it. Is  there a way to get around this, or is the only solution to format the disk and loose all my information?

    If the disk was formatted with a Win98 machine originally, XP can have an issue with it. If that is the case, is there a Win98 machine available to test it on?
