Prompt for "Save" when closing in Excel
« on: April 28, 2006, 12:01:48 PM »
 OK...must've done something screwy.   :-/

In Excel, The prompt "Do you want to save the changes you made....." no longer pops up when closing a file.   (and therefore, I lose my changes if I haven't already saved...)

I did just turn on AutoSave, but relying on the prompt to save when closing a file is an old habit.
What happened?

Any help is appreciated..

There's probably some very obscure registry setting for this, but honestly, the easiest thing will be to re-install Excel.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
