« on: May 02, 2006, 03:49:06 PM »
I want to be able to create some stunning images in a free paint programme. MSPaint is a little basic, anybody have any ideas for a free more advanced paint that I can download.

I want to create (well attempt :) ) to create some fantastic images to put into a powerpoint.

Its more like an advanced border I hope to create.

Well, thank you all for reading :)

Well, I'm not sure that there's many good programs out there for you without you having to a pay a little something... It can't hurt to look though... Try http://www.download.com ... Good luck  ;)

I have now added a graphics program section to the QA0016 Essential Software tools FAQ.  (Second post in that thread.)

This is a link to the Gimp specifically for Windows systems.

Macromedia Fireworks is certaintly extremely good if you are working with all macromedia program
Adobe Photoshop 7 is probably the best
These two application will take time to learn tweak, trick, basic  and advance drawing but it is worth all the hassel doing it on a some other application.
