Sorry to jump in here , but I think Dilbert may have offered you a rather confusing comment ........ the "special glue" as he puts it ....... isnt there to fasten the heatsink to the processor .......... The compound referred to is actually called THERMAL PASTE ...and its function is to ensure there is a proper heat transfer between the CPU and the heat sink...
