Mozilla Firefox
« on: April 29, 2006, 12:51:36 PM »
I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and every time I launch it, it runs like I have never used it before. It does not remember themes, settings, bookmarks, extensions, or my home page. It launches on http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/releases/whatsnew/. I have downloaded it twice and reinstalled it three times without change.
What can I do to solve the problem? :-?

You need to set it as the default profile.

    To do this:

    1. Close firefox
    2. Go to Start, Run
    3. Type "firefox.exe -profilemanager" (no quotes)
    4. Select desired profile
    5. Select "Don't ask at startup"
    6. Click "Start Firefox"

    It worked! :)
I made a new profile and Firefox is working fine.

    Thank you for your help.

I have not noticed any problem with the copy and paste functions of the browser.  It could be on your end as well the other users you mentioned.

I do not have any problems with my copy and paste functions either. I do not know whether I had problems with them before.
