I don't need to upgrade to have a 3D desktop (gaming has its advantages...), but that won't be my reason for getting Vista when I get it. Really, I'm going to wait until one of the following happens:

1) I find a need for WinVista
2) I can afford the expense to get another "nerd toy".

One or both of the above will have to be true before I get WinV. Until then, XP is fine, esp. since my last OS before XP was WinME... *shudder*

Vista sounds nice and all, and I could pull it off, but I won't do that until it's necessary.
