open outlook express
RIGHT click on the IN Box and choose ..... properties ....... then the IN Box properties box will come up....... You will see ..........
This folder contains (
) messages. then below that ....
This folder is stored in the following file.
Then you will see part of the pathway .......
C:\Documents and settings\Your computers name\Application Data\Identities
\{6918FA7B-20C1-487B-B19F-0AD3CB93BEDE} this is my file (yours may be differant )\Microsoft\Outlook Express \Inbox.dbx
open [highlight]Inbox.dbx [/highlight]and copy it and save it somewhere ....
Then do the same thing with the Sent folder ..... and again once you get to it , you want to save ....... [highlight]Sent Items.dbx[/highlight]
The address book , search for a file called [highlight]WAB[/highlight] ......... ( save it , thats all your addresses . )
One more thing ...... before you start the above procedure ........ Go to control panel ........ and click on folder options ..... then click the view tab ...... now scroll down until you see
[highlight]SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS[/highlight] put a tick in the circle in front of that statement ...... Now click
apply and
okNow go and save your info.
Dont forget to record your outlook express set up info ...as you will have to recreate your Email account .
