« on: May 11, 2006, 05:47:59 PM »
Ok before you say use a router or a ethernet hub I was wondering if my idea was possible here goes>>>>>>>
I have a pc with 2 ethernet cards 1 is in use by my dsl modem the other one is free and I also have another computer which it only has one ethernet card(Also Free) so I was wondering can I use a crossover Cat5 cable to share the internet connection. (THE COMPUTERS ARE ATLEAST 2 FEET AWAY FROM EACH OTHER) (Each runnig XP Pro)

Yes, you can do this.  I've not yet finished the relevant FAQ, but if you >read this<, you'll get the general idea.

Incidentally, there's usually no need to bump a thread; replies tend to arrive within 12 hours.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
