Component COMCTL32.OCX
« on: May 15, 2006, 06:19:11 AM »
Not sure if I am in the right place but... I keep getting a box headed DIAGAPP filling my desktop. The message in the box is: Component 'COMCTL32.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid. Can anyone assist or point me in the direction to get it fixed, operating system is XP on a dell computer and I use McAfee and Xsoft

Oh I had the same problem with Win2k, its a shared library used by Win95/98/98se (I think) Now you dont have to use it but you can download something called HeroEditor comlete installer from ladderhall.com thet will install all those components then just delete the files for the program from your program files. btw HeroEditor is a D2 charecter editor you dont have to use it if you dont want to but the installer will allow it to work.
