what can i do?

I want to burn video clips to a DVD-RW. However, my computer won't allow me to burn the copy off. What can I do to make the clips go onto a DVD-RW?

    ....... What format is the vid clip that you are trying to burn ?
    What burning software are you using ?
    Do you get any error messages ....when attempting to burn?
    What kind of blank dvd disks are you using ?
    Have you ever burnt a dvd before ?
