my color is messed up: only 16 colors!!!!!!!

some one help me... i have a driver that allows only a maximum of 16 colors.  I just formated my whole hard drive and cant seem to find the rite driver.  Rite now i am running windows ME.  I also cant find a PCI communicatin driver.  when i was runnin windows 98SE i had a driver that had more than 16 colors.  sum ones gotta help me, please!!!

this happened to me once but it was weird, as soon as i took it out of the cold it went back but u might want to try right click on desktop and hit properties. then go to settings
