referenced memory
« on: August 31, 2004, 11:34:39 PM »

I sincerely hope that SOMEBODY can help me. My system has Windows 2000NT that was installed when the computer was given to me.  It was loaded with viruses and spyware and adware.  I put in Spybot, Stopzilla, Spyware blaster and AVG virus protection.  Now my problem is - when I start up, I get a box that says that 0x7c574ec3 referenced memory at 0x0000012c can not be "read"  It says that I have to shut down by clicking OK.  When I do, the system won't continue loading. If I hard boot 2 or 3 times, then it will bypass that problem. What is going on? Please make your remedies simple - I am a very Newbie.  Thank you!!

Ojibwe.....were you able to remove the viruses?
If you  have the Windows 2000 operating system disk....the best thing for you to do is format the drive or drives.....and start with a clean install......and no more viruses and pests.....

    hope this helps you

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
