video card
« on: June 18, 2006, 08:30:25 AM »
Hi.  I would like to watch the televisions that I have downloaded on my t.v.; but my video card is an onboard card and doesnot have a s-video output.  I have an emachine T2682 desktop computer.  My question is which video card
would be compatible with my machine; and can I buy it in a computer store?
My OS is XP Home Edition.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thank you.

Many video cards today have S-Video. How much are you willing to spend?

Flame, thank you for answering my post.  I am willing to spend no more than $100.00.

I reviewed the manual, such as it is, on that machine, but I see no mention of what kind of expansion slots  are  available. Does it have an AGP slot, or merely PCI slots is the question. Perhaps you could look inside?

It has PCI slots.  Sorry for not supplying that information before.
