    Download problem...
    « on: June 12, 2006, 12:27:22 AM »
Me and my friend Sam have been having the same problem, we both have dial-up (that's not the problem) and if we try to download something, like an e-mail attachment, it will download, but it will say it's done when it's usually only nearly halfway done. This will happen like, 90% of the time. It's not the end of the world, but I'd like to know it it can be fixed.

    Thanks

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

Are these downloads from the same site?  What program are you using to download these files?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

well, the files won't work, because they are only half there, and it will happen wen you try to download anything usually over 3MB. It still will happen in both IE and Firefox, both are up-to-date

Does your ISP have a download limit? Does it happen on ALL downloads from a variety of sites? For both of you?

yes sometime the network will just load slow and sometime it will just stop halfway for some reason
          You just have to wait
          This is common thing

            You need a download Manager,

Gozilla was what i used back when i had dial up,

Netscape used to have one as part of that package
