My computer has lots of excess popups....

I've ran Norton AV and it's up to date. Didn't find anything though. I also have a firewall but I still keep having problems.

I can run Ewido daily and it will find at least 5 problems..daily.

At first glance, why do you have AVG and Norton both loaded? This is never a good idea.

Are you doing your scans in safe mode with system restore turned off? If not you are just reinfecting your self!

 aces67......  You machine is infected with a trojan....... So do as GX1_Man has already suggested , turn off system restore , reboot into safe mode and run both your AV and Ewido .....
Remove anything found , then reboot back into normal and rescan with Ewido .......
If its clean , turn system restore back on.
BTW , dont you have the guard in Ewido turned on ?

I did all that last weekend and it still didn't stop the popups. Is it possible that I have a virus that neither Norton nor Ewido is catching??

How did I get it to begin with? I thought that was what Norton AV and the firewall was for.

They help, but just those two things are not a complete solution. Again, once you get the system restore files infected, you have to start over with clean versions.
