application development for windows

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this msg. I am a Mac programmer, I am looking to put together a developing system for Windows PC. I am not sure how and where to look for the compiler and things like that. I program in C, C++ and JAVA. I will really appreciate if someone here has experience doing this and can guild me through the process.

The obvious route for you from C/C++ would be C# and .NET programming.  Just grab the latest IDE from Borland/Microsoft and away you go.  Or you could try the open source #develop.
