Password Protected Folders
« on: July 03, 2006, 09:10:45 PM »
 :-?

Okay here's the story,

My laptop stoped working so I removed the hard-drive and connected it to another laptop (external enclosure) to get to my files.

The problem is that one of two windows-logins was password protected.  So when I go to 'Documents & Settings' I CAN access the files on the UN-protected Login.  But when I try to get into the LOGIN that was password protected, it tells me 'ACCESS DENIED'.

I know the password but how do I use the password?  How do I access the files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Newtle

First you have to login as administrator and then take ownership of the files:
