all login sites dont work ?

My internet gives me the "the page cannot be displayed" page when ever a page on the internet sends me to the login page. This doesnt happen if I am using mozzila fire fox but when I am using internet explorer it woulnt work. A program I am trying to use uses explorer by default so I cant login. Does anyone know what could be causing this? also I do have a firewall but I allread tried closing it and it still gives me the same problems.

Which page is this that you are having problems with, in Internet Explorer?  A link would help.

Its not just one site that doestn work. Its multiple sites that require login. A few seem to work, just like I can login to this site but I cant get onto gmail.com or amazon.com and many others. Its ussualy a site thats a store but some sites like gmail dont work. And like I said when it goes to a login page it just automaticaly tells me "The page cannot be displayed".

2. Settings        
3. Control Panel        
4. Internet Options        
5. Security tab        
6. Reset all 4 security zones to Default        
      
1. Start        
2. Settings        
3. Control Panel        
4. Internet Options      
5. Privacy      
6. Restore 1 Default button      
      
1. Start        
2. Settings        
3. Control Panel        
4. Internet Options        
5. Advanced        
6. Restore 1 Default button      
      
You may need to do the following as well        
      
1. Start        
2. Settings        
3. Control Panel        
4. Internet Options        
5. General tab        
6. Remove cookies, temporary files and history

That worked. Thanks a milion. I had tried reseting stuff but I didnt know there was somuch to be reset I had just reset one thing.   . Thanks again, this had be bothering me alot.
