No need to change it for my account. You are the one that has to live with it. Some colors are just harder for the eyes to discern and not very pleasant to look at. That's one combination.

Ever wonder why word processors use black on a white background. Easier to read. "Cool" colors don't enter into that. Just the facts. ;)

YAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGG! you are EXTREMLY picky, you know that?

well, i am use to dark and lite colors, but, whatever works...one thing i will NOT do is put it in the XP theme... that is too high contrast for my liking... oh, btw, is there anyway i can change the XP theme like i can the windows classic theme? you know, how i had everything set dark... i cant normally do that with XP, unless i use a program, which i dont want to spare any memory for.. i would rather just use some other method...

colours also have an effect on mood. apparently a light pink was used for painting the walls of a certain mental hospital. the pink colour calmed the patients down. however, after elongated exposure to this light pink colour, the patients got frustrated and even angry. the mental hospital then painted the walls a light blue colour. this colour calmed the patients down and even after elongated exposure, the patients still remained calm.

P.S. notice the default colour scheme of Windows XP, coincidence?
